Owner's description

Good fun, yet slightly disreputable. They are a casually cool neighbourhood bar situated on Park Corner.

They have been inspired by our country's incredible history and sensory spirit and this is prevalent in their decor, design and menu. Born out of Social on Main in Bryanston, Social Parkwood pays homage to its roots in more ways than one. Not only is Social Parkwood an evolution of its Bryanston origin, but it has been lovingly crafted with our heritage in mind.

The originality of our South African shebeen culture has influenced them to remain authentically themselves, whilst having the strength to be brave and bold in becoming a sassier Social, yet still the Social that you know and love.

They're the kind of bar that will keep your senses engaged, through their delicious upmarket gastropub food, their unique cocktails, their vivid murals and their inspired musical heartbeat. The kind of place that you would want to be embraced by all day, every day.
