Fabulous food, yummy steaks and delicious desserts!

What an amazing restaurant. After a recommendation by some friends I took my family for lunch there yesterday. Despite being busy over the holidays, there was a great, relaxed atmosphere. The food was simple, but outstanding. I had a wonderful fish and chips. Others in the party raved about the tenderness of the chicken in various dishes. The views are incredible - photos do not even start to do justice to the site. Highly recommended.

Amazing Little Restuarant. If youre looking for international cuisine this is not the place for you. If however youre looking for comfy home-style cooking van die plaas af then this is the spot. At special request Rod & Dot (The Owners) will cook you just about anything ....(Prawns on the Braai, A whole local fresh fish...on the braai). Views to die for, shoes optional and unexpectedly an incredibly good wine list with specials to boot - at seriously good prices. If you come from Jozi youre paying near bottlestore prices because as the owner said I hate being ripped off for a bottle of plonk when I go out so why should I do it. Beers between R8 (SAB) and R12 (imports) and you can even get a quart for like R13-R15. The best thing though in my opinion is the vibe, chilled & relaxed. Service can take a long time when its busy but as the owner says, Just have a beer Boet....itll come and itll taste a hell of a lot better if youre not in such a bad mood. How right these guys are! They know how to live in this neck of the woods....Good food, good wine, good company and a setting that will knock your socks off.
