Great food and atmosphere it’s a pity our waitress wasn’t the most friendliest person.
Great location, decent food and shockingly bad service. Took 30min to get a menu after asking 3 different people for service even whilst the place was not even busy
Poor poor service My impatient girlfriend eventually called a waitter to assists us at the entrance where it clearly states : Please wait to be seated We were given menus I then started staring at a waiter 20min later to try and get someone's attention to take our drinks order My single gin covered all the ice in the glass Food is bland I expected hot veggies on my plate when I ordered the beef wellington Maybe Im wrong because the place was full
A farm experience in suburban living ... if you don't go here, I'll haunt you! This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. There is a fantastic deli shop - really amazing goodies to buy ... from exotic dry pastas, to amazing!!! jams, gluten-free products, home baked pies, tarts, cakes, cheeses, etc. Interesting gifts will empty your wallet - you can buy fresh milk by the bucket. Next to the deli shop, is 'The Deck' area. Quite a few tables where you can enjoy a lovely breakfast or lunch - while gazing out over the grass, water fountain and chickens roaming the area. If you walk past the water fountain, you get The Barn area with an inside and outside seating area. If the weather is good, DO sit outside. Its just sooo peaceful sitting under the Oak trees. If its really hot, a mist spray will cool you down. Inside the Barn is cosy and warm. These 2 seating areas have a different menu than The Deck, but everything is just looooooovely!!!! A pond with swans and ducks will amuse you, you can look at calves, cows and chickens with chicks freely roam the gardens. YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD - sadly, one cannot just go for a coffee and pay cash, but if you want just a coffee, ask them to add some yummy goodies from the Deli on your tab. Or just stay for a meal. I urge you ... do visit this farm ... if only for the unwinding and relaxing part. Try the flapjacks with maple syrup and cream. The Full English breakfast is hearty and filling! And the Ham and cheese plate with 2 small buns and a delectable onion relish is perfect for a smaller appetite.
Lovely Lovely Lovely Braai and Dessert
