The Factory began its journey to combat retail monotony as an independent project founded in 2013.  Its vision is to develop an alternative to mainstream malls and retail outlets. It is the perfect destination for a relaxed meal, drink or just simply cake and coffee, whether inside or out in the enclosed courtyard, which is situated in the middle of some beautiful and interesting retail spaces. The rooftop bar offers some of the most scenic sunset views in Jozi and is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner and just relax. The centre also offers function venues and event options for anything from a wedding to Barmitzvah.

The Factory Restaurant has always been a place to meet and enjoy, to be inspired and to share ideas over breakfast, lunch or supper. The menu focuses on home-style food made from real ingredients with honest value. Chef Jean-Louis has used his many years of experience across the globe to enhance the flavours of every dish and create the Chef’s Specialties, a range of dishes curated by the Chef himself over the years – filling & hearty – perfect for the cold winter nights!
