At the Lobster Pot you will get great value for money. Dont miss the seafood is and delicious steaks for those who do not like seafood. The Sunday lunch for R65.00 is a bargain and there is a dinner dance on the first Friday of the month.
The food was very tasty and generous, the staff and owner very friendly, and it has a quiet, classy atmosphere.
Average cost for a main meal not as stated above.
The place came recommended but some meals were disappointing. Went as a party of 8 with 3 kids.
Do not have the prawns or the lobster if you expect value for money, excessively expensive for the quality and size, maybe just this time of year but extremely overpriced for what you get.
Staff friendly and ambiance more or less as expected.
Great food. Fantastic service. A definately must visit restaurant
Absolute gem!! Hidden away but a break away from the peak season rush. Food was superb, oyster fresh, Lobster mayonnaise and Lobster Platter for mains truly was out of this world!! Exactly what you expect when on holiday!!
In my view this is a overpriced, outdated and the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I spoke to the owner to share my view on the food that was served. I have done so in a honest and respectful manner. He did not seem very happy but in my view I think it is important to bring it under their attention while you are at the restaurant. I also feel the lady, I think her name was Gayle, was a bit rude when I settled the bill. R145 for the seafood platter is way overpriced and the food was blunt, cold, greasy and had no taste what so ever. I sent back more than half of my plate and the veggies that I will not even serve to my dogs. The calamari was even more disappointing. Tough and chewy. I truly hope they took my complaints to hart and look into this matter to prevent future customers from being disappointed. I will not recommend this restaurant to any one for now.
