Below average food at above average prices.
My wife and I together with our friends came to Betty's Bay for the weekend and this Greek family restaurant was recommended to us by the guesthouse where we stayed. The food and the service were equally superb. The Greek meals were authentic and well prepared and spiced. Mousaka/dolmades and kleftiko were delicious. The portions were generous and well priced. Excellent grilled line fish for my brother and the best sirloin steak for his friend. Well stocked wine list. The baklava was home made and not too sweet. Just right. We loved it. Well done!!!
Inedible mousaka. Rude, hostile service. Worst meal of my holiday. Won't be returning.
One of the best family restaurants that we visited for a long time. My husband enjoyed his 500grm T-Bone which was done to perfection served with chips and salad. My grilled cape salmon with Greek salad and baked potato was excellent. The portions were quite big and the prizes very reasonable. The restaurant was quite busy but the meals were served fast . My kids had the lamb shwarma and the pizza . Looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this Greek restaurant!!!
Checked out reviews for somewhere to dine in Overstrand/Western Cape and this restaurant popped up. So just went along on the off chance. It was a miserable rather chilly Wednesday evening but restaurant was quite busy. We were seated next to the fireplace. The staff were friendly and attentive I didn't have to wait long for my meal Kleftiko/mash potatoes/Greek salad which turned out to be excellent. My wife enjoyed the mousaka served with Greek salad. Ended up having dessert (don't normally) the Baklava served with Greek yogourt was also very good. The only disappointment was they'd run out of Greek wine ..Retsina. Having never tried it I couldn't say whether that was a good thing or a bad thing but I would definitely visit this Greek restaurant again.
