If you don't go here for the food, go here for the wine! The wine collection here is amazing as is the wine knowledge of the owner! There are boutique wines from all over the world that I'd never heard about and the owner was more than happy to take the time to explain where the wine comes from and how it was made. The menu is small and there is little vegetarian offering (hence the 4 star rating). I had the beetroot panzerotti which was delicious and partook in the shared cheese board which is excellent. The relaxed atmosphere and super friendly and knowledgeable staff are what makes this place a gem (their wine list doesn't hurt either)!

We have been to Thief many times for a mid-week and weekend treat. The service is always super friendly and the owner really goes the extra mile to ensure that diners are having a great experience. The wine list is one of the best, very well thought out, with some boutique wines we have not seen anywhere else. Thief also hosts wine tasting evenings, which we are (sadly) yet to attend, but look amazing and great value for money. The food is bistro style (maybe leaning towards Italian), with influences from around the world. Some of our favourites are the chicken, pastas, mussels and tuna starter! Everything we have eaten here has been delicious. We also hosted a birthday party at Thief and ordered cheese board and platters - which were a hit with all the guests! Highly recommended this restaurant for date night or celebration.
