The small tokens of kindness and effort make all the difference. We are into our wine and brought our ownto celebrate a birthday. Not only did they not object, but Marc suggested we decant our wine inot one of his decanters...which is such a rareity to find these days at a restuarant. The food as delicious, although I feel the Paella( which was filled with seafood) could have been done with amore interesting variety of rice...it was just plain old tastic!Th Mezze for starters was small but tasty, which was a good thing as I could not even finish my main course. He has put in a wood fired stove..so there are new additions to the menu, like a few select pizzas( not commercial)...which is such a relief. My only other crit, is that I think they should turn down the lighting just a tad, as I felt it was too bright...especially if one is trying to have a romantic dinner without the kids!
