Food
It’s handmade burgers all the way here. Look out for the Jack D burger with a touch of Jack Daniel’s basting sauce and caramelised onions. Vegetarians will be happy with the Whoop Whoop burger made with a 100% chickpea patty and topped with cheddar and mushroom or pepper sauce. The FAB (feta, avo and bacon) burger also does the trick nicely.

If you must be different, try the BBQ ribs or snack on an American-style corndog. Also try the Killer Kimchi with cheddar, mozzarella and Mexican pickle, fried and served with gochijang mayo.

End with a huge waffle smothered in sauce.

Drinks
They have a list of craft beers, cocktails and a small wine list, and milkshakes for the kids.

Service
Friendly and fast.

Ambience
Cool biker-slash-tattoo-parlour vibe with stunning views of Table Mountain.

And…
There’s a kids’ menu plus a play area for the little ones.

  • If I could eat here every day, I would! Squeeze in, or book ahead. Great views and beach-side-vibe. Very popular in summer. This must be one of the summer holiday hot spots.

  • With Table Mountain and a glorious ocean view set as your surrounding this family orientated restaurant in Blouberg is a must visit. Jerry's Burger Bar is tops when it comes to burgers. A wide variety to choose from and incredible sauces that compliments every burger. It did serve a wide range of dishes and you could order something “Western” like steak and chips if you felt like it. But the speciality of the restaurant was of course burgers. I’m not an expert on burgers so I don’t know all the technical terms and how to describe them but I know what good burgers taste like. And Jerry's are exactly that. What I do remember though is that you would normally be served lots of smaller dishes that you could share – things like tacos and their signature cheese and pepper bombs – to their amazing corn dogs and burger sliders Jerry's have'em all. It was an extremely awesome experience with real and I mean real friendly staff. The customers actually visits this burger den on a pretty regular basis – partly because the food is quite cheap and affordable but also because it had a wonderful terrace where you could sit outside and enjoy a your draft or glass of wine after eating. I’d recommend a visit to Jerry's Burger Bar to anyone not just for its food but also for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

  • I'll state this from the get-go; it's my favourite burger in the Western Cape. A mouth-watering menu that writes cheques the burger can annually cash! The freshness of the bun, unique ingredients and a quality patty all combine to produce one of Cape Town's finest. Sweet potato fries add were perfectly cut and the list of craft beer is plentiful. Awesome for a night out or a lazy lunch. So good I crave it from time to time!

  • Jerry's is one of my favourite burger joints. Jerry's is a my go-to place when I want a good burger. The restaurant is always busy (so make a booking). You have to try the onion rings. The prices are reasonable. It's also a great place for sun-downers because view is spectacular (they have a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). They have a children's entertainment room but it is unsupervised (to my knowledge). There is no wheelchair access (to my knowledge).

  • The best thing that I like about Jerry's Burger Bar is that they are inexpensive yet their menu is big and offers a wide range. The names that are given offers individuality for each burger and keeps one wanting to try more.

  • We were seated by the "manager", who then promptly forgot us. Many, many waitrons were running around but it was very hard to catch their attention. Finally got a drinks order in. 10 minutes later, it was clear nothing was happening at the bar. The "manager" wandered gormlessly past us and we complained. Still took another 10 minutes to get 2 beers. So we decided that ordering food would be impossible and left. Pity, it's a nice looking spot.
