Cannot fault the view and ambience here, very chic and high brow. Their selection of cake, desserts and sweets was varied and well crafted. The only thing I didn't like from the sweet buffet was their macaroons, crunchy rather than soft and chewy. I also wish they would've had the Cape Malay koesister rather than the Afrikaans koeksister, it is Cape Town after all. My other bug bear is you're served a plated selection of savory bites, none of which were spectacular, good but not amaze. I would've preferred having the savory selection as part of the buffet instead.
