I visited the Brasserie about 2-3 weeks ago, it was a beautiful setting but sadly that was the only thing I njoyed, the curry buffet I went for was horrible, the lamb curry was full of breast pieces of meat and it was not tender. The chicken curry was drumsticks split into 2 pieces and cooked up in a tomato gravy. Potatoes were hard. For roast it was pork and beef things I did not eat. I ate the starter brocolli soup mostly. I must say for a Protea hotel group the food was a let down. As for the desserts horrendous thick pastry cases filled with little topping and inedible looking cake with fake cream. R250pp was simply not worth the quality. The waiter that attended to our table did a fabulous job.
