Chef Nathan Clarke from The Test Kitchen Fledgelings was named the winner of the Eat Out Rising Star award at this year’s Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards.
The award, won in previous years by Anwar Abdullatief and Mmabatho Molefe, recognises young, up-and-coming talent in the restaurant industry who demonstrate a future-forward approach to their craft. “I’ve put in the work, drive and passion and I think that’s shown a lot and maybe that’s how I got recognised,” says Nathan. “It’s been an exciting journey.”
