Indulge at the sweetest eatery this Valentine’s Day

For centuries, Valentine’s Day has symbolised love, passion and romance and, for the same period of time, chocolate has symbolised Valentine’s Day. In keeping with this tradition, the chocolate masters at Lindt have challenged some of South Africa’s top chefs and eateries to create their own unique, chocolate Lindt-inspired dish of love. Thank St Valentine for that!

This February, Lindt will be running its first ever Sweetest Establishment Valentine’s awards with the help of Bosmans Restaurant, Reuben’s (Franschhoek and Cape Town), Salt, DW Eleven-13, Piccolo Mondo at the Michaelangelo Hotel, The Oyster Box and Ginger Restaurant. Each eatery has been challenged to design a special Valentine’s dish using Lindt chocolate, to run for the month of February. The chefs have been encouraged to be as inventive and passionate as possible.

The winning restaurant will be crowned Lindt’s Sweetest Establishment of 2011, rewarding its team’s approach to melting hearts this Valentine’s Day with a dish of love. To secure your spot at any of the participating restaurants, please contact that establishment directly to reserve your table.

To make your Valentine’s Day extra sweet, Lindt is giving away one meal for two people at each of the participating restaurants, as well as a Lindt hamper worth R600. To stand a chance of winning, click here.
