Partner content: Coco Safar launches new bakery menu and delivery service

Coco Safar’s Bakery Counter is officially open! All-natural, wholesome baked goods and artisanal bread, as well as coffee (capsules and beans) and rooibos (capsules and loose-leaf), are available at the counter for collection or for delivery straight to your door, across the greater Cape Town area.

Many Coco Safar fans may know the brand only as their favourite Sea Point all-day café, espresso bar or world-class patisserie destination. Most are not aware that Coco Safar is also and has been an artisanal bakery and food-and-beverage supplier to the hospitality and retail industries for quite some time, supplying five-star establishments such as Delaire Graff, Mount Nelson and The Twelve Apostles.

Coco Safar’s Bakery Counter in Artem Galleria (situated on Sea Point’s Main Road) is open six days a week. And while the café is closed during the lockdown, a selection of premium artisanal breads, viennoiseries, coffee and tea is available for pre-order for delivery via WhatsApp. Pre-orders and collections will be available from Saturday 25 April, and deliveries will be available from Mondays to Saturdays.

Before the onset of this worldwide crisis, Coco Safar’s international culinary team was hard at work developing a range of exciting new products in a quest to elevate and expand its bakery offering. It is now finally ready to launch its wholesome breads, along with its traditional bakery goods, to satisfy all palates.

The Bakery Counter menu includes authentic artisanal breads such as country-style ciabatta, brioche buns, mosbolletjie bread, gluten-free multiseed bread and a few other exciting new breads, such as a white chocolate and dulce de leche babka, all baked daily on-site. Coco Safar classics, like butter and hazelnut-chocolate croissants and sticky buns, will also be available to boost your mood. And for those who have run out of coffee and rooibos, Coco Safar also has its premium compostable coffee and rooibos capsules, beans or loose-leaf tea available.

While it has adopted exceptional sanitary measures to keep its staff and community safe, Coco Safar also remains committed to uncompromising quality, and to making available the best of comforting baked goods by using the best and most nutritious ingredients, including local free-range eggs,  extra-virgin olive oil and honey, and premium grains and superfoods like amaranth, teff and millet.

Keep a lookout on social media over the coming days, as Coco Safar will aim to expand its bakery menu to include other decadent daily essentials. For more information, go to https://cocosafar.online/bakery, WhatsApp Coco Safar on 082 055 5721, or visit its Instagram page @cocosafar.
