Food

A visit to Wolfgat is a unique experience, the menu likely different to anything else you’ve ever experienced.

Each member of staff helps with the foraging in the morning and chef Kobus van der Merwe puts the yield to excellent use, masterfully incorporating local plants, herbs and seaweed into the menu.

Bread is freshly baked (the roosterkoek with warm bokkom butter is absolutely unforgettable) and, of course, only the freshest sustainable seafood is used. Wines are carefully selected to complement each dish. This is a one-of-a-kind experience to be treasured.

Drinks

Extensive wine list with exceptional wines sourced from smaller wine farms.

Service

Owner Kobus van der Merwe welcomes you at the door. He even helps to serve, sharing his knowledge and stories about the dishes.

The whole atmosphere in the restaurant and kitchen is calm and serene.

Ambience

A beautiful setting with an unbeatable view. Here you’ll find exquisite wine glasses and cutlery paired with the most beautiful handmade linen serviettes.
