Watch: David Higgs makes the ultimate margarita

Ready for a little celebration? There’s nothing like a little cocktail to get into the holiday spirit! David Higgs, the chef of Joburg live-fire restaurant Marble, shares his recipe for a festive margarita.

Here’s that recipe again:

Ingredients:
Ice
1 ½ shots of tequila
½ shot Grand Marnier liqueur
1 ½ shots cranberry juice
½ shot of lime juice
salt, for the rim of the glass

To garnish:
mint
lime zest

Add ice to a cocktail shaker and shake. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the garnishes, and shake. Pour into a salt-crusted glass and garnish with mint and lime zest.
