Gauteng, brace yourself for a serious celebration of cocoa and coffee beans at the Coffee and Chocolate Expo at Montecasino from Thursday 16 July to Sunday 19 July 2015.

Coffee enthusiasts can look forward to learning more about their favourite hot beverage, its origins, and how to pour the perfect cup at the Coffee Theatre, sponsored by Foghound Interactive, and chocoholics can make their own cocoa treat at the decadent MyChocolate bar.

Further highlights include a coffee and chocolate pairing with wine from Diemersfontein, bubbly from Welgemeend or whisky from Whisky Rebellion, hosted in the Cocoa Mokka Lounge. Look forward to live entertainment featuring The Motherland and other top Johannesburg bands. Kosher and Halaal chocolates and coffees will also be available to sample and take home.

In a quest to find the best aspiring barista in Gauteng, The Coffee Magazine will be running SA’s very first home barista championship at the expo. Entrants will get to prove their brewing skills and stand the chance of winning fantastic prizes, including R10 000.
