It’s the season of collaborations and this next one promises to be a big one. The chefs of The Pot Luck Club Cape Town and Belly of the Beast are getting together to create foodie magic over a series of events.
Jason Kosmas, Executive Chef at Eat Out two-starred restaurant The Pot Luck Club Cape Town, and Neil Swart and Anouchka Horn, the chefs/restaurateurs behind Eat Out starred restaurants Belly of the Beast and Galjoen, and their new eatery Seebamboes, will be teaming up in June in a celebration of culinary storytelling.

The collab will kick off at one-starred restaurant Galjoen on 24, 25 and 26 June. Located on Cape Town’s Harrington Street, the restaurant is known for serving up a tasting menu of sustainably sourced seafood that pays tribute to the beautiful produce the oceans around the country have to offer.
The chefs will then move to the Pot Luck Club kitchen in Woodstock on 27 and 28 June. Led by Jason, the Pot Luck Club team serve up innovative dishes crammed full of flavour (and have been doing so since 2012).
At each of the services, diners can expect a multi-course tasting experience that combines the personalities of all four of the restaurants’ kitchens. They’ll get a taste of Belly of the Beast’s storytelling, where nostalgic family recipes are reinterpreted, and The Pot Luck Club’s layered personality. Above all, the menu will showcase a variety of different influences while emphasising the ingredients and techniques that were used to create it.

Together, these three talented chefs will be serving up more than just food, they’ll be showcasing the power of combining creative forces in the kitchen (and the fun that can be had while doing it).
