We always go to Fabio - we enjoyed their pasars and occasionally their pizza was good depending on the pizza maker. We had a booking on friday 6 at 8pm . It was load shedding at the time and the power came back at 8-30. People were sitting in the restaurant by candle light and on the veranda. We were standing inside the hotel at 8-15 being ignored by the mNagetess, older lady and the young waitresses also just ignored us . We understand we couldn’t order food but we were happy to sit and order drinks and wait for the power to be restored. After five mi utes the waitres attends to us saying they don’t take clients / I said we have a reservation and she was about to take us to our table when the rude managers ds interrupted: “ I’m not taking new customers now. We are struggling with the generator to work . You can wait outside . It’s very warm here inside!” How impolite ! She could have at least offers us a table by candle light , something to drink , be hospitable . This is not the first time . The first time she was rude to us and refused to sell us take seats - we would d ordered dit is while waiting for the pizzas I. The meNtime and still tipped them . We left feeling very. Insulted. We have emailed the owner about this incident in the past and he apology. But now after the second run in with this rude lady , I am putting the review in writing - the management should undergo a course in politeness, good hospitality and how to work with guests. She must stop being rude and abrasive . Of course we will never be back due to this rude woman and her abrasive attitude . An apology will not suffice so do to not even try . You apologized once for her bad behavior- a second time is unnecessary.
