This has to be my current favourite restaurant in Cape Town. I returned a year ago, shortly before lockdown was implemented and haven't had the time to find a new spot. At level 3 the house started suffocating me and my cousin suggested we hang out at her favourite place, best decision ever. The vibe is amazing, food is superb and the staff are attentive and helpful. I love the fact that you can just chill with your crew and smoke hookah without a care in the world. I love that the menu is a mixture of Meditarean and local as I've actually ordered malva pudding the last time. I'd definitely recommend Baran's to anyone and took my friend visiting from Johannesburg there a month ago and she loved it was well. It's affordable and the perfect place to unwind.
