The first Burger Bistro was opened in 2012 (against their mothers’ advice) by Jan-Hendrik and Corné, two guys who love burgers and had too much time on their hands. The idea was revolutionary… Handmade real beef patties, fresh ingredients, hand cut chips, bad-ass milkshakes and good music at reasonable prices. Ice cold beers also helped a bit. In the meantime they’ve opened 4 more branches, won some awards and made a decent amount of Burgers… Spreading joy and happiness all across Gauteng! One thing is certain though, no matter how big they get they’ll always remember why they’re in this business… To make the best damn burgers in the world! You should try one…

I absolutely love Burger Bistro, Montana. The restaurant is cosy and decorated 60's style with vinyl records on the tables and music from the 60's to the 80's. The food is delicious and they are no shy with the order for instance if you order a bacon cheese burger, there is plenty of bacon and cheese on the burger. The staff are attentive and never keep you waiting long and they have draft beer for R25 for 500ml, which is very reasonable. Their chips are the best I've ever had, and I have had chips overseas, including fish and chips in England, and Burger Bistro takes first prize. They advertise where their potatoes are from and their chips are freshly made and cut. The burgers are flame grilled and so tasty and the rolls are always fresh. I love Burger Bistro and would recommend it to anybody who takes their burgers seriously. They also serve steak and nachos among other dishes.
