Owner's description

The Cascades offers bistro-style food in a congenial and relaxed setting. Tuck into bowls of more-ish pastas, juicy steaks, pan-fried linefish, or even a vibrant salad. Leave room for dessert though, the pastries and cakes are not to be ignored.

Went for Saturday lunch, which was the perfect venue on a warm winters day. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back

Cascades is an outstanding restaurant, excellent food, perfect service, nice modern (design) ambience. And the owner is always on the lookout to make sure everything runs smoothly. I truly recommend this place!

Very nice place to have a breakfast or lunch. Dinner is very romantic. The terrace is splendid. Staff is smiley and efficient. Lovely place to go for any occasion.

Cascades is a delightful venue. Tasteful, very nice deco that you will see no where else. Very nice mix of Europe and South Africa. The croissants are even better than in France ... and I'm French!
    Salads and pasta very good...
If you want a warm welcome in a nice ambiance and nice food go to Cascades.

By far the most disappointing food and service I've experienced in a long while. Our main (at lunchtime on a quiet day) took over 60 minutes to arrive. The service was staggeringly indifferent, the pastry on the chicken pie was like leather and the chicken looked... well, actually, I was sorry I looked. The only redeemable aspects were the lime juice and soda and the French fries. What a let down.
