Our experience started off below average, our Chip on our card was visibly damaged clearly, and failed to work. And pin locked upon trying each speed point in the restaurant, Janine the extremely worthless poor excuse of an owner treated myself wife and 12 year old Son like ,criminals . When this happened we arranged an EFT payment which was immediate but also takes up to an hour or 3, we were then greeted by 4 armed response people and then a further 6 police officers who approached us in the restaurant humiliating us and terrifying my son. The police agreed with me that no crime was committed and there time along with the armed response was wasted . I could go on forever about this Circus but not worth the energy. If I drove past this owner in a gutter dying I would spit on this disgusting low life piece of scum.

It was wonderful before but let us down this time, they wanted to charge an extra R22 for a sugar free coke instead of regular coke in the cocktail not on!!! And then the grilled fish was soft and mushy, definitely not fresh but it would have been nice if we were told this first. It was sent back and everything else was agreeable but not as good as previous visits. We waited 45 minutes for the bill and only got it after getting very frustrated. The next day I was hit with serious tummy trouble, not a visit to remember alas.

What a weird experience....probably have driven passed this little gem hundreds of times. Looking for a place to have a light lunch, my wife suggested we stop here. I am fussy at a restaurant. Because I like my meat & seafood done exactly to my taste (and having been disappointed way too many times) I rather have something "safe" for the first time at a restaurant I've never been to before. I was impressed with the range of burgers seeing that it is more in the "gourmet" burger category. I settled on a Big Blue burger..... What a DELIGHT!!!! Taste & presentation was top notch!!!! Coupled with a bright, sunny, wind still Cape Town summers day, the experience was more than pleasant. Catch 22 will see us soon again and this time we will sample some of their other delights.
