All the Greek favourites immaculately prepared, packed with flavour and great to look at. The mezze platters are good value and a typical Greek way to eat. Garlicky rich tzatziki, creamy humus, homemade dolmades, tiny meat balls (keftede), fried halloumi, soft pita breads and crisp calamari tops and tails, a feast made in heaven for a Graecophile. Go on to excellent moussaka with the creamiest béchamel topping in town, or gyros, either beef or chicken , packed with succulent pieces of meat , bathed in tzatziki, with cucumber, tomato and red onion to give it plenty of crunch , all packed into pita pockets. How anyone can finish that after meze I will never know. If you want something more substantial there are prawn, kingklip, and sardine dishes, all great, and on the meat side various grills, including great lamb shank. Homemade baklava is the way to go for a super sweet ending to a fabulous meal
WINE Small but well priced list of some local favourites to please most palates. BYO an easy R30.

Smiling, smooth and snappy.

Colourful chairs on the wall, a trellised ceiling, it all feels very natural, like being at home—Greek home. The busy kitchen from which enticing aromas fill the dining area is clearly visible. Outside if you look carefully Table Mountain looks upon us from a distance but the view is not why everybody comes here—it is the food which has been the drawcard right from the beginning at this very popular neighbourhood eatery.
AND Booking—especially on the weekends is absolutely essential

Arrived with high expectations. Mossaka was still frozen on the inside so not made freshly everyday. Prawns over cooked and chewy so was the calamari.
Authentic Greek food that doesn't disappoint on the portion size as well as on the flavour side. Great value for a trip to Greece not too far from home ?
Thoroughly enjoy everything from the warm atmosphere, to the super friendly and helpful waiters and the delicious food served in generous portions. Had dinner and lunch with my meal and it was delicious!
Opening its doors to the public in August 2017 this restaurant serves really great food, but the restaurant itself is worthy of a visit every time you are in search for great Authentic Greek cuisine. An incredible ambiance and atmosphere. The oceanic vibe and the décor is admirably amazing. I've been to other restaurants where there's a good vibe and I wanted something like that at The Fat Greek as well, so I got exactly that, There are many factors that influence an awesome restaurant atmosphere. With a creative theme that tells an incredible story about the restaurant. Great restaurant concepts connect the food with its staff to the customer, something that this place does not lack. There are simply no words to describe the atmosphere, ambience, food and hospitality in this restaurant. The next time you shot'left in the Blouberg are make sure you go and have a nice sit down at The Fat Greek Restaurant. Situated opposite Catch 22 and right next to Cubana. 2 Porterfield Road Table View Cape Town 7441
