I have never been so angry. Very very disappointed by one of your bouncers! The way he chased&dragged me out of the club last night all because I was falling asleep??Really??! Couldn't he just tell me to leave instead embarrassing me as if I done something wrong to a point that he wanted to beat me wow!! Even worse it's not like I refused to leave I was leaving but he just pushed me out kept on telling him not to touch me because I have an operation on the hand he was touching! Chased me out like a dog wow!!!

I went to Cubana Greenpoint. Poor customer service especially from the manager, Michael. Very disappointed.

The place is often busy however the simple food e.g. ribs are still fairly good considering it is a restaurant/ club. Some of the waiters are shocking. I asked for the champagne list and he said they don't have one. But he can give me the prizes if I give the name. I mentioned some champagnes and repeated the prices 3 times R1190 for a French Champaign. When the bill come the price was R1390. I queried this with the waiter and management and the waiter said since the lady ordered the rose version of the same named champagne and I had agreed. I was never told of the higher price of the rose bubbly. I had mentioned the name and he gave me the price 3 times. Management was happy to give it to me for R1190. I also told the waiter clearly that when it comes to my orders he needs to deal with me not other people on the table. I paid R1300. Then half an hour later the waiter speaks to the lady and tells her she must pay the extra R200!! She gets upset and tells me they always causing problems, because she is not from South Africa.. Bad style on the waiter to go behind my back . Had the restaurant had a price list in place whole thing would not have happened.

On arrival my friend and I were courteously escorted to our table and handed two very heavy menu's, it is something new and different, but not advisable for the small table we were seated at. Also, the table was meant for four people which was baffling since two of us used the entire space.
The food was a bit pricey for the portion but it was good. I had the Pollo Gamba and still have absolutely no complaints about it.

The service was good, other than the fact that the waiters were literally hovering around our table the entire time because the place was as empty as a ghost town. Would I go back? Totally, to try out every cocktail on their menu! ha ha. Good job guys.

The service is horrible!!!!
I made a reservation two week in advance but when the day came they claimed not to have me on their bookings list. After sitting and waiting at the bar for an hour for them to sort me out as I had the name of the person who I made the booking with (Resante), asked them to recheck and Voulah! my name re-appeared based on the details that I had already given them. The staff was unapologetic, unhelpful and rude. I love the music and the food is not bad, but I am not stepping a foot there and would never recommend it to my friends. The service is horrible!!!!
