Owner's description

Decameron’s philosophy on food is about authentic Italian dishes simply prepared from quality ingredients and fresh produce. Inside, the walls are decked with a massive array of paintings and prints of Italian origin and the Renaissance period. The ambience inside is rich and warm, and as you walk through the doors you'll be impressed by a distinctly Italian aroma of fresh baked breads, pizzas made in the wood fire oven, home made pasta’s, steaks and seafood.

A lovely place at the edge of stellenbosch town a brilliant venue and a good vibe The food is what you would expect from an italian rrstaurant.. homey warm creamy pasta frrsh seafood woodfired pizza and chicken However the lack in service can throw ones whole experirience sideways Firstly old ciabata bread no condiments and a waiter trying to serve 20 tables at once messed up orders and bills alike Hands frequently in the air from all the guests requiring attention made it quite unpleasant Something the restaurant has to consider addressing
