This small roastery in an atmospheric double-storey building specialises in African Arabica beans. Artisan blends come in 250g or 1kg bags and they also stock Bodum and Bialetti coffee equipment, Callebaut dark chocolate, raw honey, vanilla sugar, artisan bread and muffins. Get to their takeaway kiosk around 9am on a weekday and rub shoulders with fishy folk from the South African Institute of Aquatic Biodiversity, gesturing drama types or interesting art students – all there for their daily fix.
