Owner's description

Homespun at the Andros the newest addition to the Homespun family.

The Homespun journey started in Blouberg. The restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt came back to his home town to open his dream restaurant: Homespun by Matt Blouberg.

Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. They offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, South African and worldly flavours.

This is our second visit to Homespun at the Andros in Claremont. You are taken on an incredibly culinary adventure engaging all the senses. It’s playful and fun combined with amazing culinary skill . Great front of house team and a very knowledgable sommelier with a twinkle in his eye and a great personality. Claremont and Cape Town is lucky to have a restaurant of this standard. Homespun is now firmly on our list for our yearly trips to Cape Town and can’t wait to see what new surprises we will take delight in on our next visit
