The Oak and Vigne now has a Sports Bar showing all the sports highlights.
Dear Pierre,We are truly sorry for your terrible experience the other day. We do not wish for any of our customers to have an unhappy time with us; eating poor quality food and having to put up with poor service. I am afraid you are correct in what you say for I was present but I was not aware of your unhappy experience until you brought it to my attention just as you left. You mentioned to me then that you come our way from time-to-time and I would like to invite you back to share a meal with us and show you that our standards are not usually so low. We are used to getting a lot of good feedback, especially on our very popular burgers, but we do take criticism very seriously because it is through this feedback that we can make things even better. Sadly not every day is the same, although our standards are intended to be consistent.Kind regards, Alex (owner Oak & Vigne Cafe)
Lunch at the Oak & Vine was a total disaster. After waiting for more than an hour for our food, the starters and main course arrived at the same time. The burgers were so overcooked that you could not tell the difference between the beef and chicken. The most amazing thing was that although the owners walked around in the restaurant they never noticed that we were not getting any service, nor was there any quality control over the food leaving the kitchen.AVOID this place at all cost.Pierre
