Pure Cafe is foods unadulterated simplicity's perfect perfection.
We went there for brunch. For starters (because every meal should have a prelude); we had the French Affair, warm cinnamon french toast to share. What an excellent "hello" for our palettes. I pretty much drank my portion it was so delicious.
For the main affair, I ordered the Pizza Breakfast (the marriage of cheese, bread and now eggs & bacon is what my perfect wedding dreams are made of) , and my friend ordered the Omelette Quattro (described on the menu as the regular's favourite).
To say their eggs made me emotional, is not a dramatisation of real events. I have never had a more burning desire to sing a love song to eggs. The chorus to the 1997 K-Ci & Jojo hit "All my Life" has never been so apt " all my life I've prayed for someone like you / And I thank god that I, that I finally found you"......that's how perfect the eggs were (scrambled AND the omelette) , light, fluffy , not wet, not dry , just absolutely perfect.
Everything accompanying the eggs was full of flavour and reminded me why the morning meal intended to break the fast from the prior night will forever be my favourite. It doesn't have to be complicated and if its phenomenal it will make you so grateful you woke up. Personally I prefer my bacon crispy, and this bacon on the soft side of crispy .
Reading the rest of the menu and food watching as people got served made my mouth water even though I had a full stomach.
Pure Cafe is pure magic - will definitely be back (",)
