No prawns waited 40 mins for order When wrong order arrived they claimed we ordered it Very disappointed as we had enjoyed meals there before We will not go to Cavendish branch ever again and won't miss the attitude of the manager who is doing the brand a disservice

Like many of us in Cape Town, a meal at a Simply Asia is generally a weekly or at least fortnightly routine. Excellent quality quasi-authentic Thai - all round healthier fast option. However not the case at Simply Asia Cav. Service is appalling in the evenings. Grabbing a meal here before an 8pm week day movie is impossible. They have 1 chef cooking for a packed restaurant (2 during the day when its empty) and you wait a minimum of 45 minutes. There is general frustrated chatter between tables as people look around and then stuff themselves in a race to get going. All while the incompetent manageress idles aimlessly around (when not hiding in the back). Waitrons are good, but cannot compensate. Manageress rolls her eyes and says, "but we only have one chef". Well, get another chef and don't make it my problem. No apologies and no sense of urgency is offered. This is one Simply Asia I will avoid like the plague from now on.
