We were looking for a restaurant to book for my husbands birthday dinner, and decided to try a few out before confirming the booking. I was very disappointed in natida. Had heard so many good things about it. The service was appalling. Our waitress was so disinterested, she left us alone for periods of time, we didn't have napkins and condiments (salt & pepper) on our table. The salad we ordered was not made with the freshest greens. My lettuce was wilty and started turning brown. The pulled beef was tasteless. Not the best experience.
We went to Tables on the promise if being a "child friendly" restaurant. The were accommodating when we wanted to move to another table because out table was unbalanced and my chair had a broken seat. Our waiter was very friendly. But on the downside, the restaurant floor was disgustingly dirty. And the tables had coffee cup marks and just felt dirty as well. With so many choices for breakfast spots in the Winelands, I don't think we will be returning.

This is a busy spot and we rang an hour ahead to book a table for 2 adults and 2 children. Arrived to be placed in a dingy spot and at a table that couldn't even accommodate us all. Our request to be moved was seen as "annoying" for the lack of a better adjective. The service I can only describe as luck lustre the entire time. This restaurant is advertised "al fresco" with expensive prices. The tables and chairs were filthy and worn, there were cobwebs underneath the tables, the umbrellas were marked and stained and the children's tables were also in a very sad state. The meal was mediocre.
I am a local but will NEVER return due to the arrogant behaviour of this establishment and its "management".

What a wonderful Sunday lunch - excellent food, reasonable prices, an attentive waitress and lovely outdoor venue. What more could you ask for?

Disappointing, poor service - was supposed to be a special birthday occasion and no effort was made to provide a nice table or wish the customer in any way or just go the extra mile. Will not go again - food and service not that great.
