We are enjoying our summer holiday in SA again. Lured by the website of Clanwiliam Lodge and the comment in the Eat Out guide (which we always use) we intended to stay 4 nighs at Clanwilliam Lodge. Both the hotel and the restaurant were a complete disappointment. The hotel shows a clear lack of maintenance and interest in caring for clients, the restaurant is absolutely awful We wonder how the description in the Eat Out guide can be so utterly wrong. We left after 2 nights.
