J’Something’s choco-nana smoothie

Frozen banana adds a wonderful rich texture to this smoothie – and espresso, a wonderful kick.

Serves: 1

Ingredients

1⁄2 frozen banana
1 double espresso
1⁄4 cup milk
8 ice cubes
4 T low-fat vanilla yoghurt
1 T vanilla protein powder
1 T ground almonds
1⁄2 T cocoa powder

Method

Blend together until smooth. Garnish with good-quality dark chocolate shavings.
