Reviewed by Glen RobbertsWhat an absolute pleasure! The food at this unassuming establishment was a whole level above any other food we sampled in Cape Town. The menu is very obviously crafted by highly experienced chefs, with locally sourced produce as the star of the show. The simple, classic flavours where second to none, matched only by the excellent service we received by the front of house staff. Highlights included the amazing matched wines, the creme brûlée (oh my god, the creme brûlée!), the pate and the melt-in-your-mouth beef fillet topped with their signature cafe de Paris butter. Although we live in Melbourne, the temptation of just one more mouthful will be enough to bring us back to Cape Town soon. Can’t recommend enough.
