How The LivingRoom champions sustainable dining


At Eat Out three-star restaurant The LivingRoom at Summerhill Guest Estate, every detail matters: single-use plastics eliminated from supply chains, responsible foraging that respects natural balance, and solar power that reduces energy consumption. Even their cooking fires burn wood from invasive species, turning environmental challenges into culinary solutions. 

It’s more than an exceptional food experience – it’s proof that world-class dining and environmental responsibility are natural allies.

And it’s precisely this philosophy that earned the restaurant the inaugural Eat Out Woolworths Green Star Award at this year’s Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards.
