At the Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards, anticipation always runs high for the star ratings – but the 14 Special Awards are just as eagerly awaited. These awards showcase the diversity and creativity within our restaurant industry, honouring sustainability, mixology, dessert artistry, service excellence and more. 

For the first time at this year’s Awards, joint winners were announced for the Eat Out Patrón Mixology Award.  

FYN and Beyond, sister restaurants from the FYN Group, took home the accolade, and Jennifer Hugé, sommelier and service director for the group, took to the stage to receive the award. Both restaurants have drinks programmes defined by creativity, precision, and innovation, and they continue to raise the bar for mixology in South Africa.
