Lientjie pays homage to her own mother, the late Louie Wessels, with her mother’s famous Beef Beer Stew on mash with a savoury salsa. Sunday 14 May 2023, 12noon, Mother’s Day Buffet Lunch

Adults R270, Kids (5-10 y.o) R135, Under 5 y.o R95. Prepare yourself for the magestic thatched roof setting, the manicured gardens, the crystal clear pools and some very deliscious food. On the menu, a hearty soup with bread, beef and gravy, chicken curry with coconut and sambals, sticky toffee pudding/ peppermint crisp tart, ice cream with homemade chocolate sauce and assorted nuts. Enjoy a three-course set menu that delivers so much more than meets the eye. The chefs will start you off with a springbok carpaccio amuse bouche. Next, choose your starter from a selection of delectable offerings like the duck breast salad, the line fish ceviche or the pork bonbons. Your main course choices are between the succulent lamb, Norwegian Salmon, the brilliant beef fillet or one of the most amazing vegetarian offerings, the scrumptious onion tarte tatin. Dessert is a gourmand’s dream of dark chocolate ganache and Tonka bean sponge or Crêpes Suzette with orange and vanilla pod ice cream. The kitchen makes one of the best vanilla pod Crème Brûlées available. If you chose the three-course option, you have a choice of five different desserts.
