Cupcakes that care: host a Cuppa for CANSA tea party

Now here’s a fun (and worthy) idea: Le Creuset is calling on South Africans to whip out the good china and host a tea party for Cuppa for CANSA. Whether you register as a host or simply attend, the idea is to enjoy the company of friends and family while raising money to support the lives of those affected by cancer. The theme ties in with ‘Holistic Care and Support’ and all guests are expected to make a donation, which is collected by the host and paid directly to CANSA to assist Tough Living with Cancer (TLC) – a support programme for children, teens and the families of those living with cancer. And apart from the fun – who doesn’t love a good tea party? – Le Creuset has a few prizes up their sleeve for the most inspiring tea parties. Snap some photos of your event and you could win a R10 000 shopping voucher to spend at one of their stores! If you’re interested in hosting an event at work or at home, visit the official Cuppa for CANSA website to register. All entries must be submitted by 31 October 2014. Le Creuset will also be donating 30% of the proceeds from the sale of the pale rose capuccino mug to CANSA.
