Where to indulge in oysters and bubbly

With January nearly over, it’s time for some fun and indulgence, so we’re cracking out the bubbly and oysters. These are the restaurants in the country where you can enjoy the two together in all its different iterations.

Nationwide

Cape Town Fish Market

Marble (Rosebank)

Qunu at the Saxon (Sandhurst)

The Grill Room (Umhlanga)

The Grill Room offers all things oysters, from native oysters served simply with a red wine mignonette on toasted brioche to flame-grilled oysters with a burnt scallion butter and parmesan floss. It’s one for the oysters-and-bubbly bucket list.
