Mamma Gs (Ballito)

This vibey Italian restaurant is popular for its gourmet pizzas and pastas. Kids 12 years old and under eat for free every Thursday – also dine-in only. Boasting a great outside play area, kids can expect an astroturf courtyard, movies, kids’ cars and jungle gyms, as well as colouring-in books.

Mimmos (Pavilion and Gateway)

Make your weekend easy with Mimmos. This family-friendly Italian restaurant offers great food and a cosy atmosphere. Kids 12 years old and under eat for free every Sunday, so bring the little ones and tuck in! One child per dining adult. Available for sit-down only.

Mozambik (Ballito and Morningside)

Mozambik is all about family and there is always something for everyone on the menu! Every Monday, kids 12 years old and under can enjoy a free meal with every one main ordered per adult. Dine-in only. Their kiddies’ menu includes calamari, fish fingers, prawns, prego rolls and chicken strips.

Olive and Oil (Hillcrest & Glenwood)

Olive and Oil are all about the whole family sitting down together, enjoying a special bonding experience. To help you share this quality time with your family, Olive and Oil have a great offer – on Sundays, kids eat for free from the kids’ menu. Sit-down meals only. There is a kids’ playroom with a TV, PlayStation, toys and some colouring-in books. Olive and Oil staff are also tasked with watching over the little ones.

Sage Cafe (Salt Rock)

Sage Cafe is an old favourite on the North Coast. Every Thursday, kids 12 years old and younger eat for free. Dine-in only. Kiddie’s meals include grilled calamari, gem squash filled with mince, and kiddies’ burgers. They offer a great outdoor and undercover playground for the kids. Children can play happily in the adventure area and dig for gems in the Scratch Patch.

Hooters (Umhlanga)

Hooters is now considered a family-friendly restaurant, especially during the daytime hours. Every Sunday, kids eat for free at Hooters in Umhlanga. Their play area has high-quality educational toys on offer. The kids have puzzles and colouring-in booklets at their tables as well. Kids have several options to choose from on the Hooters Kids Meal menu, including boneless and traditional wings, chicken strips, grilled cheese, and sliders, all served with one side item and a beverage. Valid for dine-in only and limited to children 12 years old and younger.
