Historic Wine and Guest Farm Fraai Uitzicht 1798, in the Klaas Voogds Valley (Roberston), home to an award-winning fine dining restaurant, has new owners.
Germans, Sandra and Karl Uwe Papesch have taken over the running of this classic establishment. The chef at Fraai Uitzicht, Janet, remains though, keeping up with their renowned great cuisine.
Janet’s The Dream of Africa dish is well-known and her Asian inspired salmon trout keeps the restaurant popular.
There are also new light dishes now such as the Chef’s Favourite Salad, pasta of the day and open sandwiches.
Many know Fraai Uitzicht as a perfect place to visit for a lazy lunch with beautiful views, which of course wouldn’t be complete without their hand crafted Fraai Uitzicht 1798 Merlot.
