The food

Executive chef Adrian Cook has dreamt up a simple yet sexy menu for the summer season. Think tuna with ratatouille or salt-baked fish, seared salmon with Shimmy pickles and veggie crisps, or steamed dim. For dessert, try the cinnamon-chocolate fondant with chocolate mousse and choc-mint ice cream. There’s also a wood-fired pizza oven and a sushi bar. The restaurant is child-friendly and is also available for private hire for special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, baby showers and children’s parties.

Robin Schulz live at Shimmy

German DJ Robin Schulz will play live at Shimmy as part of his South African Tour. Local support acts include Goodluck, Pascal & Pearce, Ryan Murgatroyd and more. Showtek SA Tour

The Dutch electronic dance-music duo will kick off their South African tour at Shimmy Beach Club.
Tickets are available through Computicket for R350 or R500 for VIP. A limited amount of tickets are available for early bird purchases at R250.

Multi-function venue
Shimmy is also available for day conferences, business meetings, launch parties
and entertaining clients. The venue boasts two private meeting rooms; a 220-seater restaurant; an 80-seater lounge with 3m-wide white screen, projector, roaming microphone, sound system, background music and lighting; pool decks, two VIP decks; a private beach; and stage.
