What Sunday lunch means to me: George Jardine, Peter Tempelhoff, Chantel Dartnall and Michael Broughton

What would you order for the ultimate Sunday lunch? On 15 November, we’ll be hosting an extremely special meal when we announce the winners of the 2015 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards.

Ahead of the event, we asked four of the nominees to show us their ideal Sunday lunch.

Win two tickets to the Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards

Want to be there on the day as we announce South Africa’s brand new Top 10 restaurants? Mblife is giving away two tickets to the event. You’ll be chauffeur-driven to the venue in a Mercedes-Benz SUV, with flights and two nights’ accommodation also included (if needed). To enter, simply watch the chefs prepare their Sunday lunch in the videos below and answer an easy question here.

For Peter Tempelhoff, the trick to a great Sunday lunch is getting all the prep done first, so you can relax with your family and a glass of wine.

George Jardine, meanwhile, transplants a Yorkshire tradition to Stellenbosch for his ultimate Sunday lunch.
For Chantel Dartnall, Sunday lunch conjures memories of her mother’s roast.
Sunday lunch for Michael Broughton conjures memories of a huge family meal with all the cousins, aunts and uncles.
Tickets to the awards are on sale now.
Also watch our first batch of nominated chefs, Chris Erasmus, Wesley Randles, Virgil Kahn and Eric Bulpitt, cook their version of Sunday lunch here (warning: there may be roast goat involved).
