We look forward to welcoming you to the 2019 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards. Here’s everything you need to know.
When and where:
Grand Arena, GrandWest
Sunday, 17 November 2019
12pm
Please arrive at 12pm to enjoy canapés and welcome drinks, before being seated at your table in the arena at 1pm for a sit-down eight-course lunch interspersed with the presentation of the awards.
Please note that parts of the ceremony will be filmed for a special episode of SABC 3’s The Taste Master.
The ceremony is due to end at 7.30pm, but the celebrations will continue with more food, a band, open bars and, of course, the dance floor!
What to wear:
The dress code is elegant and the theme is Grand Garden Party.

Taxis may drop guests at the entrance to the registration marquee at Sun Park via the GrandWest main entrance off Jakes Gerwel Drive. (Go through the main entrance, continue straight at the first circle, take the first exit at the second circle, then follow the road to Sun Park.)
Parking will be in the general parking area on the left-hand side of GrandWest, accessed via the main entrance, with a park-and-ride service available to the front of the registration marquee.
Taking the shuttle from Franschhoek
Secure parking is available at Kerk Street, Franschhoek.
Shuttle departs at 10.45am sharp.
There will be 2 return shuttles available at 8pm and 10pm.
Taking the shuttle from Stellenbosch
Secure parking is available at Stellenbosch University, Engineering Student Parking, Stellenbosch.
Shuttle departs at 11am sharp.
There will be 2 return shuttles available at 8pm or 10pm.
We encourage you to avoid drinking and driving – rather take advantage of the shuttles and/or a taxi service like Uber or Taxify.
Dietary requirements:
Your table steward will have all details of your dietary requirements – please make yourself known to your steward once you are seated in the arena. All the canapés are Halaal-friendly.
