Affogato

Simple, stylish, delicious.

Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 tub (600ml) good quality vanilla ice cream

strong Italian coffee

a shot of almond or hazelnut liqueur

Method

Scoop the ice cream into a bowl and serve with a shot of espresso, a shot of Amaretto and some amaretti biscuits. Enjoy separately or with the coffee and liqueur poured over the ice cream and biscuits.
