At last I could visit my favourite local restaurant last Thursday due to the ban lift on restaurants! However, no alcohol 🤦‍♀️ Everybody needs a glass of wine with fine dining. It was lovely just to be able to eat out especially if one lives alone!! It was lovely to see Matt and his excellent team. The hospitality was sincere and so welcoming!! I had my favourite ostrich canapés which was scrumptious! Followed by the Malay squid!! Yummy with the best of bo- kaap flavours!! Oh my, the Matt Special was amazing- juicy and soft, cooked to perfection!! The brûlée with the smoke under the dome was drama!! What a show!! That is what restaurants are all about!! Well done Hi young Matt and your beautiful staff!! Thank you for a spiffing evening!
