An Italian restaurant is not always a pleasure for me, but at Bella Italia I was very impressed because I could eat their Gluten Free pasta - and it was really very nice. Big portions and lots of flavor.
My husband had a pizza and he was highly impressed with the flavor and thin base. Will definitely eat here again. Option to sit inside or outside.
We sat inside because it was hot and we decided on a table close to the aircon.
Waitress was very friendly and we waited around 20 min for our food.

Owner's description
Bella Italia has been a landmark in Sea Point for 15 years. Bella is owned and run by Luca and Moyah Merola, Luca is the son of the late Cherie and Luigi Merola who opened the doors in 1999. Evidence of the next-generation owners is seen in the new open plan front, bar and outside. The food is still the same – traditional home cooked Italian dishes.
A wood fire pizza oven producing the best thin based pizza in town! Fresh pizza dough made by Davide Marolla, a Piziolla from Padova and who is also Luca’s brother-in-law.
