Owner's description

Deez is an intimate, vibey and authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Hout Bay. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere inside next to a fireplace, or soak up the sun as it sets behind the Sentinal outside in the lounge area.

Mouth-watering Mexican food is served at great prices, and lashings of tequila or margharitas with the quirky locals make for a fantastic restaurant experience. The restaurant also so serves some of the best chilli poppers south of the Mexican border.

Love love love the chilli poppers! The best in town - and even in South Africa! Lovely setting and vibe, great margaritas!

Used to be a gem, now it's an overpriced dump with horrible service and disgusting food. Avoid at all costs.

We go to Deez regularly when in Cape Town area, and have always had an exceptional experience. The relaxed vibe and delicious food makes for what eating out is supposed to be, a great night out. The Chilli Poppers are the best and the frozen Margharitas yummy. Authentic Mexican food and at a good price.

Really enjoy the outside lounge while having great chilli poppers with friends.

Slimey joint with overpriced margaritas and surly staff.
