Hearty, generous home-cooking at Die Plaaskombuis. We were there for breakfast on Monday and enjoyed platefuls of French toast and eggs, while the kids happily munched on pancakes (very reasonably priced at R15 for two!). The kids loved the outside play area, while the grown-ups got to sit back and take in the view. The service was a bit on the slow side, but this was acknowledged & apologised for by our waitress, as they had a sudden influx of tables all at one go (and probably not helped by us ordering extra things every time she came near our table!). Be warned, they stop serving breakfast at 10.30am.
